ALLKIN CONSTRUCTION, INC.

HISTORY

ALLKIN CONSTRUCTION, INC. was founded in 1987 by Russell I. Aldridge, Russell Dale Aldridge and Ruth V. Aldridge. Since Allkin is family owned and operated with such strong family ties, it was agreed that the name of the company should be ALLKIN.

Russell I. Aldridge was a union carpenter in the 1950's and 1960's and worked on many large projects in Austin and around central Texas.
He decided to start his own construction company named Aldridge Construction Company. The name of the construction company changed in 1987 to Russell Aldridge Contractor, Inc. and focused on building new homes.

Dale was born and raised in Austin, Texas and has worked exclusively in the construction field since high school which began at John H Reagan High School, with graduation from Lanier High School. Dale began working as General Superintendent for Russell Aldridge Contractor and continued until forming his own company, Dale Aldridge, Inc. in 1983.

Dale's experience began with residential construction, but saw great opportunities in commercial construction. When Allkin Construction, Inc. was formed in 1987 the Commercial Division was created and the family business was reunited.

Allkin Construction's newly formed Commercial Division immediately began to work on several remodel projects for both the public and private sectors. Within the first year, Allkin Construction, Inc. was awarded the contract for constructing the new addition to the High School in Hutto, Texas. Since that time, Allkin Construction's Commercial Division has grown a reputation for completing projects on or ahead of time and on budget.

Dale takes great pride in being a native Austinite and enjoys meeting and working with new and old clients. Dale enjoys building projects with his goal being to keep a good relationship during and after project completion while maintaining a great reputation among the community.

To this day, Dale and his wife Nina along with their children and grand children take great pride in being a part of Austin Texas and its history...Building Texas with Pride.
